This is a presentation of the different Nordic Action Force cardbacks, artwork, figures and vehicles released under the name Action Force in the Nordic countries during the mid eighties up to the early nineties. The information in this post is based of catalogues, my own collection, trade/dealer catalogues from old toy shops and some other sources. Collectors from al over the world have been helpful in making this presentation.

First i would like to go thru the different carback types that were avaible on the Nordic market, in order of release.

First release-

Transision cardbacks:

This is the Palitoy release that was avaible first in mid 1985 and was discontinued in 1986. Cards have Swedish and finnish text.

Second release-

Early small cardback:

This is the first Hasbro release in the spring of 1987 and discontinued mid/late 1988, these cards have only Swedish text printed.

Avaible from mid 1988 and discontinued in early 1990. Apart from Swedish text on these cardbacks it was added two more languages norwegan and finnish.

Avaible in 1990 and discontinued in late 1991. Apart from Swedish, norwegan and finnish text on these cardbacks it was also added german.

Fifth release-

Middle big cardback:

Avaible in late 1991 and discontinued in 1992. In this release the cardback has a tone of either Blue for action force or  Red for Cobra. The card have a thick withe boarder around the card. The text is in Swedish, finnish, norwegan and german.
